Pownall Hall School is not only concerned with academic achievements. Children are enouraged to develop their social and personal skills in preparation of an individual for life. This encouragement manifests itself in outdoor activities and educational trips, with primary focus on interaction, bonding and communication. For those who have specific learning difficulty, additional support is given through our Learning Support Department.The school has its own Pre School and After School Care Services in a separate building with its own staff. In addition extra curricular activities and other courses are often arranged and are very popular.The school prepares and serves all meals onsite, ensuring a balanced and nutritious diet for all children.

After-school Care

Younger children with older siblings higher up the school have the opportunity to go to our "Picnic Club" from 3.45pm while they await their older brother or sister to finish their school day at 4.15pm. This enables parents to make a simple journey to collect their children.

After 4.15pm or if children have no siblings, they may go direct to Aftercare which is available until 6pm.

During the time spent with our aftercare staff, chidren are provided with drinks and snacks to keep them going until tea time.
