Pownall Hall School is not only concerned with academic achievements. Children are enouraged to develop their social and personal skills in preparation of an individual for life. This encouragement manifests itself in outdoor activities and educational trips, with primary focus on interaction, bonding and communication. For those who have specific learning difficulty, additional support is given through our Learning Support Department.The school has its own Pre School and After School Care Services in a separate building with its own staff. In addition extra curricular activities and other courses are often arranged and are very popular.The school prepares and serves all meals onsite, ensuring a balanced and nutritious diet for all children.

School Catering

Meals are prepared on the premises by our well-qualified catering team, with the emphasis on home cooking. Each form sits with its form teacher, who ensures that the children practise good table manners and that they eat sensibly. Special diets are catered for. Children who decide to stay after school for clubs are given a snack tea. Following home fixtures, match teas are provided for the players and supporters. For outings, children bring in a packed meal.
