Pownall Hall School is surrounded by beautiful grounds. The Hall itself contains an Information Communication Technology suite (ICT) with many PCs including Internet, e-mail facilities, interactive whiteboard, additional classrooms and administrative offices. Externally there are the Nursery and the modern Kindergarten and Reception classrooms, both with their own playing areas. There are additional classrooms for Forms 1 to 6 all housed in modern accommodation. Also a well-equipped Library provides extra reading resources. With a Science Lab, a spacious Sports Hall and an Arts Centre comprising a fully equipped Theatre, Music Room and Art Studio, the school has excellent facilities. Our playing fields are on site and allow for all major sports and athletics to take place without the need to travel to other grounds.

IT Suite

The IT suite is situated within the main Hall and provides the children with the facility to be taught and also use equipment that is essential and integral to modern life and education.

IT is constantly evolving and changing and Pownall Hall recognizes this need to constantly evaluate and up date our facilities, especially in this area.

This year we have undertaken a complete renewal and re-siting of our IT department, opening up the access to the facilities across the school from Kindergarten upwards. The new ICT suite was officially opened on 18th January 2010.
