Pownall Hall School is surrounded by beautiful grounds. The Hall itself contains an Information Communication Technology suite (ICT) with many PCs including Internet, e-mail facilities, interactive whiteboard, additional classrooms and administrative offices. Externally there are the Nursery and the modern Kindergarten and Reception classrooms, both with their own playing areas. There are additional classrooms for Forms 1 to 6 all housed in modern accommodation. Also a well-equipped Library provides extra reading resources. With a Science Lab, a spacious Sports Hall and an Arts Centre comprising a fully equipped Theatre, Music Room and Art Studio, the school has excellent facilities. Our playing fields are on site and allow for all major sports and athletics to take place without the need to travel to other grounds.

Science Laboratory

With separate access from the main building, our Science Laboratory is purpose designed for children from year 3. With extensive resources and facilities our children can learn beyond the National Curriculum.

It is here that the children have the opportunity to participate in practical scientific experiments and investigations. Our science classes aim to challenge and engage the children in this subject area as they observe, make and test hypotheses, design and control experiments and valuate evidence.

With the advantages inherent in having this facility we can ensure that our children develop a real enthusiasm for science which they will take with them to their senior schools.
